Hiroshima Peace Day and Japanese Consulate Commendation

Ikebana International Melbourne continues to contribute to the promotion of Japanese Culture and Australia-Japan relations through ikebana.

Followed by our annual installation at St Paul’s Cathedral for the commemoration of Hiroshima Peace Day, II received a commendation from the Japanese Consulate for the ongoing cultural and community contribution through ikebana.

We are extremely humbled and honoured to receive such recognition.; and we sincerely thank our volunteers and members, past and present, for their support.
